Short story : Father's strange love

 

The old man, working as a pump attendant at night, reads his son's diary. Concerned about his son, he takes drastic measures to obtain the diary.

When he open the diary, the old man. Found that his son is not happy and finding a way to end his life by riding a motorbike being lost somewhere. He have schizophrenia

While his sons fighting the disease, the old man find no rest to help his son. His hand always dirty. He often search how to help his son.

"I wish I were Aladdin from your favorite story, able to grant at least three of your wishes. But I am not a god, just a man. With all my weaknesses, I apologize I am your father. But you are my honor."

I found my father's note inside his locker, beside his dirty gloves. I was unaware of my father's hands, but they must be rough from his efforts to grant my wish for happiness.

Tear have start benefiting my eyes. My vision started to be blurry. I pray to Allah to let my father being among the believers.
